Weird graphQL schema explorer?

I find it weird that graphQL schema explorer for input is name format fieldname: fieldname instead of fieldname: type. Am I missing something? The picture show examples.

This is from github graphQL api, input type SecurityAdvisoryIdentifierFilter. Why does it show type: type and value: value instead of type: SecurityAdvisoryIdentifierType! and value: String!

After I click type, then it redirect me to field description page + document for the type.

same go for type field.
