Text selection not cleared

The previous text selection is not cleared when selecting any text field or selecting other text in another panel. Therefore, you no longer know which text is actually selected.
This bothers me daily when using the app, and I believe I'm not the only one.

At the moment this screenshot is taken, for example, you don't know which text is actually selected or where the focus is.
