At first I absolutely understand, that there is a paid license model to earn some money and it’s OK. But the current situation is somehow misleading.
According to the LICENSE file, Yaak is MIT licensed (free of charge).
According to the releases page on Github, a paid license is needed when using the prebuilt binaries.
According to the source code a paid license is needed “if you use Yaak within a for-profit organization of two or more people”
After ready all of this, it’s still OK but it’s a too long way to get there and at least this might be confusing for some users.
Maybe it’s possible to make this more clear on a single location and reference it from all the other places.
