ESET NOD32 complaining about IPC(!)

Extremely weird one here… just updated to the latest 2025.5.5 and NOD32 has decided to throw a hissy fit when closing the settings window (running on Win11):

I know IPC is used to handle events.. but this didn’t happen before.

There’s no further details than this unfortunately. It doesn’t concern me and this is clearly some kind of false positive on ESET’s side, but thought I’d raise it.

I’m assuming the NOD32 defs hadn’t updated earlier on my laptop as it never flagged on that despite me updating Yaak last night on that box.. but it flagged just now after updating Yaak on my desktop.

Just downgraded back to 2025.5.4 and the issue goes away, so it’s something that was introduced in the latest patch release that NOD32 doesn’t like.

Happy to test any dev builds if useful.
